Glossy green, 1/2 inch wide, arching leaves form large, upright clumps that are quite impressive. A warm season grass, plants bear fluffy, bottlebrush plumes in late summer. Although it's one of the few grasses that will bloom in partial shade, flowering is best in full sun.
