These tall, robust plants have pinnate foliage and bear plumes of tiny, fluffy flowers in late spring to late summer. Ideal as border plants in wet areas and for naturalizing in damp meadows. Queen of the prairie. Foamy 6-9 inch plumes of pink to rose are borne on sturdy, erect stems rising above a mound of toothed foliage. Can be planted along streams or ponds and can tolerate boggy conditions.
