Dark blue-purple with white or brown bees. Often double flowered. Bred by Dowdeswell in New Zealand, these hybrids were hand-crossed resulting in plants with excellent form, strong stems that don't require staking and magnificent heavily petaled flowers. They have improved tolerance to heat and humidity and are very cold hardy.
